144MHz VHF NFD

I think we should crack a bottle of something to celebrate winning the first place in 144MHz VHF NFD Restricted Section! After all the problems we encountered with finding a field and putting in a last minute entry it is good to have all the hard work pay off. Congratulations to Dave G7WHI for doing well in 70cm all be it just a short session to test out of the equipment and location. Just think what we could have achieved with the full set up and 6m/4m running too! Although we only had 2m and a short test run on 70cm we ended up in 6th place overall in the restricted section out of 16 stations taking part.
